The team at Brookmeade Building Services is led by Mark Whelan who joined the family building business, then managed by his father, straight from school. Mark's interest lay in the professional side of the building and construction industry and through college studies Mark became an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Building. Other family members joined the family firm and qualified in bricklaying and other craft skills.

Organisation and Planning

Mark's wife Lesley who also works in the family business is a qualified accountant (ACCA). This combination of design, management, craft skills and finance skill sets has enabled Brookmeade Building Services to become well established as a multi trade building and repair business in Manchester and the North West with a significant client base. Long term partnerships have provided a stable base workload across a geographical area covering from Luton to Newcastle.

Building Skills & Resources

The team at Brookmeade Building Services includes all of the traditional building trades of bricklaying, plastering, joinery, tiling, plumbing and decorating. In addition sound working partnerships have been established with electricians, gas engineers, AC, access control and alarm businesses. This approach, together with the availability of a full range of specialist plant and small tools ensure that a one stop shop service is available even on the most complex of jobs.

Mark Whelan has a strong focus on health, safety and environment issues and the firm has a policy of proactive continuous development of all employees. A contractual arrangement with Citation plc. ensures that the firm can meet the health, safety and environmental commitments required by any potential Client.

Our company can cater for individual house-owners or architects requiring an extension, loft conversion or replacement kitchen or bathroom.
